Tamarak began on September 21, 1980. Curt Jones, the creator of Tamarak has had a connection to White Bear Lake since 1986. He has the vending machine business at both Century College and Stillwater Prison. Five years ago Curt and his family became a residents of White Bear Lake.

Tamarak originally started as a country band. Over the past 29 years, they have become a solid classic and current rock band. Curt Jones has been the drummer since the beginning. Dan Grise and his guitar joined Tamarak in January of 1997. In 2000, Dave Millett on guitar and Allen Lerold on bass rounded out the current lineup. The band has played at Decoy's and the North St. Paul American Legion as well as many clubs and events throughout Minnesota.

Tamarak's latest CD, "Out of The Blue" was released at the Great Minnesota State Fair on August 25, 2006. To listen to songs from the CD go to our website at www.tamarak.iwarp.com. Orders for a copy of our CD can be made at the website.

Tamarak appeared on KARE 11 Saturday Morning Show. (see a video of us at our website) Tamarak has been featured several times on Twin Cities radio.

Tamarak is now a pure driving no holds barred rock-n-roll band. They have fun every night putting on their show, and so does the crowd. Check our schedule, at our website www.tamarak.iwarp.com and come find out for yourself!
